    The Saturday Girl: Alia Bhatt

    Alia Bhatt
She is young, she is peppy, she is full of life and though, neck deep in work, she knows how to take time out and have a gala time. We are talking about none other than the Shaandar girl – Alia Bhatt who knows how to strike a perfect balance between work and play. The petite belle who was seen grooving in the popular party anthem ‘Saturday Saturday’ from her movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, off-screen too, enjoys slipping into her partyshoes.
Just like the lyrics of her song goes - ‘Party karne ke liye baby ji ho gayi taiyyar,’ Alia who loves dancing is always ready to have some good time and is the heart of all the parties.
This youngest Bhatt prodigy is a self-confessed party animal, and unlike many other actresses, the Highway girl doesn’t shy away from confessing that she enjoys a drink or two too, occasionally. “I drink sometimes when I am partying with friends. I have even got drunk,” says this Student Of The Year actress, who also knows to party responsibly. “It’s good to have fun, but it’s also very easy to get lost. Hence it is important that one learns to balance it well,” advises the party bird.
Partying is something that this 2 States actress has always enjoyed, ever since she was a teenager. “I had lied and gone for a party when I was young; I think I was 16-17-year-old. My dad got really mad at me that time,” she confessed on a talk show.
In fact, during the promotions of her debut film Student Of The Year, Alia was very excited to visit the popular nightclub in Dubai – The Vegas Club. Apparently, the club made special arrangement for Alia, who was underaged at that point of time, to enter the club.

Well, today Alia is certainly grown up enough to walk into any nightclubs she desires, however, she has few favorite places to hang out with her friends. One can often spot this vivacious gal at some of Mumbai famous plush places like Nido,Fat Man’s CaféEsco BarOlive Bar And Kitchen among others. Alia is also a sucker for house parties; but throwing a bash is not her thing as she gets too worked out when hosting a party, so she'd rather people throw a party for her. “I can’t handle all the stress of hosting a party, you don’t get to have any fun then,” reasons the Bhatt girl.

Another thing that she is not kicked about is having lavish birthday parties. "The last time I celebrated my birthday elaborately must be when I was a teenager. I am not one of those people who make a big deal about birthday celebrations. I am just looking forward to eating some great food and spending time with family and friends,” quips Alia.
But when it comes to birthdays of friends and dear ones, she is certain to go all the way to ensure that they are having a great time. Recently the beauty went to the party city of India – Goa, to celebrate her alleged beau - Sidharth Malhotra’s birthday. The actors, who will be seen together in Dharma productions next film Kapoor And Sons, apparently had a great time enjoying the sun, sand, and the party scene in Goa along with good friendsKaran Johar and Ayan Mukerji.

Another favorite city where Alia loves to let her hair down is London. Recently she went with her elder sister Shaheen Bhatt for a ten-day trip to London, and the girls were practically club hopping all night.
However, like mentioned earlier, the girl does not let any of her fun come in the way of her priority, which is work. So no matter if it’s all play and no work, Alia continues with her routine religiously, which mean a strict diet and not skipping her exercise regime. So no matter how late she went to bed, Alia ensured to wake up early and go for a run through the streets of London, past the Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London, which was followed by a yoga session in The Green Park.
Now, shouldn’t we learn a thing or two from this party animal?
